The Midland Twins 11U Rep A, proudly sponsored by Imperial Roofing, showcased incredible resilience and team spirit at this past weekend’s Muskoka Cup 2025, walking away as B Division Champions in a weekend full of grit, redemption, and relentless summer heat.

Friday – Win vs Aurora King Jays Final Score: 13–3 The Twins kicked off their tournament with a commanding win, thanks to disciplined at-bats and solid pitching that set the tone for the weekend.
Saturday Morning – Loss vs Clarington Orioles Final Score: 14–2 The boys faced a strong Clarington squad and were unable to recover after a tough start.
Saturday Afternoon – Loss vs Guelph Royals Final Score: 11–2 Despite battling through scorching heat and back-to-back games, the Twins dropped their final pool match.
Pool Record: 1–2 Qualified 6th overall to advance to the B Bracket Semifinals.
Sunday Elimination Round – Bounce Back and Brilliance
Semifinal – Rematch vs Aurora King Jays Final Score: 7–4 Aurora returned with a stronger effort, but the Twins maintained their edge with clutch hitting and heads-up base running to earn a spot in the finals.
Final – Rematch vs Clarington Orioles Final Score: 11–4 In the ultimate redemption game, Midland turned the tables on Clarington. With confident pitching, timely hits, and lockdown defense, the Twins powered their way to a decisive championship victory.
Battling the Elements
If playing five games in three days wasn’t tough enough, the boys were also up against the hottest weather of the season. With the sun blazing and temperatures soaring, the team had to manage fatigue, hydration, and recovery between games—making their performance all the more impressive.
